Hire Terms and conditions

Anytime a tester is rented the following precautions are to be taken:

  • Customer understands that they are fully responsible for the tester. Any damage, loss or fault discovered on the tester on return and proven not to appear before unit was borrowed will be deducted from deposit (€ 500.00), which is payable by credit card, cheque or cash in advance. We do not accept debit / laser cards. The deposit normally is to be used to cover the costs of operating the tester and rental – depending on the chosen package the costs could include cost of label cartridges and/or printing documentation.
  • Customer also understands that the regulations in Ireland require PAT testers to be fully competent in all aspects of portable appliance testing. Hire of testing equipment is on the basis that the customer (or the person hiring and testing on behalf) is fully compliant with the Statutory Index.
    PATesting Ireland Ltd also offers PAT testing training services.
  • The customer declares the period of rental and accepts that the equipment is to be returned punctually on the declared date. Should the return of the hired equipment be delayed for any reasons, the customer must notify PATesting Ireland Ltd by calling +353 1 465 9487 or emailing info@patesting.ie. Customer understands that in any case of any delays in returning the equipment PATesting Ireland Ltd is entitled to raise additional charges over the agreed rental fee. Each day, exluding carriage days, when the tester is out of our office is chargeable. This includes Saturdays & Sundays.
